Nominations & Categories For 2025
Nominations will open on 1st February 2025.
Any nominations received before this date will not be included.
Nomination Process, Rules and Procedures.
*(Please read before submitting a Nomination).*
1) No company or person can nominate themselves. Nominations must come from people/companies that have used your products/services.
Colleagues from a different company that have worked alongside you or used your products/services may nominate you or your company.
2) Nominations will only be accepted on the downloadable document (Microsoft Word/PDF).
A minimum word count of 80 or more will only be accepted, and nominations need to outline what a company or
person has done to go above and beyond their normal course of duty.
For supplier/product categories, you will need to state what makes their product/service outstanding. Photos may also be incorporated into the nomination form. Please do not send photos as separate attachments they must be incorporated into the Microsoft Word or PDF document.
3) Any incomplete nomination forms will not be passed to the judges.
4) Forms must be submitted from the Nominator’s email address. (So, if you nominate someone, the completed nomination form must be submitted from your email address. The nomination form must be emailed as an
attachment to vote@agfdgoodfuneralawards.co.uk.
5) Any nominations deemed as false will be removed from the judging process.
6) Nominations will be based on quality and not quantity. Statement word count must be a minimum of 80 words.
7) The AGFD uses external confidential judges, who are independent and unbiased. Our judges have many years’ experience in the funeral sector and their decision will be final.
8) Please make sure you are nominating a person/company for the correct category.
